Man ‘beats up ex-wife after she buys him McDonald’s Quarter Pounder instead of Big Mac’
Mohamed Aboubaker, 39, was arrested on two counts of domestic assault after emergency services received multiple calls at around 9pm on March 21.
According to his ex, the argument was sparked because she had brought home a Quarter Pounder instead of a Big Mac for him to eat.
An operator reported hearing scuffling noises and a child screaming in the background on the calls, during the incident in Minneapolis, US.
When officers arrived at the property they were greeted by the victim, who identified Aboubaker as her attacker, according to a police statement.
By then, however, he had already fled.
She told police that her ex, who is also the father of their three-year-old child, had been visiting for that last few days.
She said that earlier in the evening, when she returned from McDonald’s with food, Aboubaker had been angry at what she brought with her.
An argument broke out between them, she said, at which point, she asked Aboubaker to leave.
He refused, then allegedly grabbed hold of the woman and threw her to the floor, before taking money from her purse.
