Fazlur Rehman called for quick elections in the country.
PDM leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman reversed his position and called for quick elections in the country.
The ruling coalition was previously opposed to the elections, but Maulana Fazlur Rehman of the JUI-F has since reversed his position and stated that there was no reason to postpone the elections any longer.
The JUI-F leader also stated that if the electoral system had any flaws, these should be fixed.
While hinting a split, Fazlur Rehman stated that the ruling coalition was only briefly in power and that it is their obligation to restore the nation’s faith.
It should be mentioned that the JUI is still active in the current administration.
The JUI chief’s statement has been seen as a hint of a rift in the PDM, which was formed as a unified effort to depose former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government.
