Funeral prayers were offered for Aamir Liaquat.
On Friday, funeral prayers were offered for famous TV personality and PTI MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain.
The prayers were attended by a large crowd, including Hussain’s family and friends. Former Sindh governor Imran Ismail and former Karachi mayor Farooq Sattar also attended the funeral.
The police reached an agreement regarding the deceased’s burial and decided to hand over the body to Ahmed Aamir, Hussain’s son. Ramzan Chhipa, a Pakistani social worker, will perform the PTI MNA’s ghusl (the process of washing and shrouding the deceased prior to burial).
Hussain will be buried in the Abdullah Shah Ghazi cemetery.
Earlier, the police had stopped Hussain’s burial to conduct an autopsy.
On Thursday, the 50-year-old televangelist died. The news of his untimely death shocked the entire country.
Hussain recently revealed in a video statement that he has reserved a grave in the graveyard of Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s shrine. His parents, politician Sheikh Liaquat Hussain and columnist Mahmooda Sultana, are both buried nearby, and he will be buried alongside them.
