The hero dog barked repeatedly to warn the owner about a deadly cobra.
When the 3ft deadly cobra crawled along their house wall in Udon Thani, Thailand, puppy Boo Boo began barking at its owner Naruemon Chaimart.
A brave pet dog alerted its owner to a deadly cobra lurking outside their home.
Last week in Udon Thani province, Thailand, Boo Boo the dog noticed a 3ft snake crawling along the wall of the house and began yelping.
When owner Naruemon Chaimart went to see what was upsetting the seven-month-old Thai Bangkaew, he discovered an agitated Boo Boo confronting the cobra.
She hurriedly called rescuers to remove it from her property and stated that it was not hers.
The elated homeowner stated: “This is the third time Boo Boo has warned us about snakes in our home. She has literally saved our lives.”
The venomous reptile slithered through the grilles connected to the family’s restroom to avoid Boo Boo’s wrath.
Some can spray venom at their attackers’ eyes, blinding them. King cobras, on the other hand, can inject enough poison in a single bite to kill an elephant or 20 people.
Cobra venom is lethal because it affects muscles and nerves while also preventing the lungs from working.
The species is part of the elapids family of snakes, which also includes sea snakes, mambas, kraits, and coral snakes.
Volunteers reportedly struggled to catch it due to the narrow space, but eventually succeeded.
