Kate Middleton makes a remark on the title of Princess of Wales.
Kate Middleton became the Duchess of Cambridge when she walked down the aisle on her wedding day.
However, as her husband, Prince William, ascends the line of succession, Kate will most likely be given a new title: Princess of Wales.
And it has now been revealed that during a visit to Cardiff Castle over the Jubilee weekend, she made a rare remark about the title – and was full of praise for William.
Kate can be seen greeting a crowd that had gathered to see her, as well as William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte, in a video shared by Twitter user @hellen3030.
One lady tells her as they shake hands that she will make a great Princess of Wales one day.
Kate responds, saying: “That’s very thoughtful of you. I’m in capable hands “as she motions towards William
When Prince Charles ascends to the throne, William will become the heir apparent and will most likely assume the title Prince of Wales.
The title is not guaranteed to William because it must be bestowed upon the heir by the monarch.
However, experts predict that Charles will most likely pass on his title to William.
If this occurs, Kate will become the Princess of Wales automatically. The previous holder of this title was, of course, William’s late mother, Princess Diana.
