To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire, the Duchess of Sussex invited volunteers to a Grenfell community kitchen.

Meghan Markle left a “lovely voice message” at the Hubb Community Kitchen, asking “how we are, about our children and families, and giving us news of hers.”

The group said in a Facebook post that the mother of two – Archie, three, and Lilibet, one – was “just being her beautiful kind self.”

The Hubb Community Kitchen was founded by a group of local women.

After the devastating 2017 fire, a group of local women gathered to prepare fresh food for their families and neighbors, the Hubb Community Kitchen was born.

Meghan worked with volunteers to create and write the foreword to their award-winning charity cookbook, Together: Our Community Cookbook.
