Millions of Netflix subscribers may be BANNED for violating three simple rules.

NETFLIX, like any other online service, has rules that must be followed or your account will be locked – or worse, banned.

After losing 200,000 subscribers, the streaming behemoth does not want to lose any more.

For those who haven’t heard of them, they allow you to fool websites into thinking you’re in another country.

When it comes to Netflix, this means you can watch TV shows and movies that are available in other countries but not in your own.

According to Netflix’s terms, “you may access the Netflix content primarily within the country in which you have established your account and only in geographical locations where we offer our service.”

You’re more likely to get a warning popup than an outright ban.

However, because such activity is a violation of the terms, they could technically ban you if they so desired.

Sharing your password with people outside your household

Netflix has always prohibited password sharing.

However, the platform has chosen to ignore the problem.

As we recently learned, bosses are now looking to put a stop to the practice.

This is because Netflix is hoping to turn things around after recently reporting a drop in subscribers for the first time in ten years.

Instead of an outright ban, the company may try to charge you more money for a second account profile, as we’ve seen tested in some cases.
