Quetta: After another case of Congo virus was reported from Loralai city of Balochistan, the number of people infected with this virus in the province has increased to 22.

According to sources, the 33-year-old victim has been shifted to Fatima Jinnah Hospital for further treatment. So far this year, 5 people have died due to Congo virus in Balochistan.

What is Congo virus?

Congo virus is a dangerous viral disease that spreads from cattle to humans. This virus is transmitted to humans by the bite of the worms found on the body of cattle. A person infected with this virus experiences severe fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, bleeding and other symptoms. If it is not treated in time, it can be fatal.
