Punjab govt looks to control dengue
The Punjab government was looking to control the situation of dengue in the country.
According to details, Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir and deputy commissioner on Thursday chaired the meeting of the dengue emergency response. The pilot project had been started in line with the recruitment of 170 volunteers in Shalimar Town.
Expressing his thoughts, Nazir said: “The dengue volunteers will brief the masses about dengue. The volunteers will also be recruited in other towns as well.”
“All the departments should have to nominate the focal person for the activities against controlling the dengue,” he added.
