Recently, the President of the Bar Association of Pakistan, Mr. Raif Atta, along with the President of the Balochistan Bar Association, Mr. Atta Ullah Lango, formally appealed to three-time Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif to use his political acumen, seniority, and influence to help manage and resolve the complex situation in the province.
Balochistan: The Heart of Pakistan’s Security and Prosperity
Balochistan holds immense significance, both strategically and economically, for Pakistan. Rich in natural resources and commanding a key position bordering Iran and Afghanistan, the province has long suffered from neglect, lack of development, and political unrest.
