A cyclist was caught on camera towing a loaded shopping trolley along a busy road before crashing at a roundabout moments later.<\/p>\n

The mystery shopper was seen riding down a main road in Cwmbran on Monday night whilst simultaneously pulling a loaded Asda trolley next to him.<\/p>\n

But his plan to cart the load while riding went awry when he tried to mount the pavement before reaching an oncoming roundabout, sending the trolley and its contents flying,\u00a0Wales Online reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He eventually crashed and spilled the trolley contents<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing at first,” said electrician Craig Woodland,<\/p>\n

who was on his way to train at the local Easy Pacers running club when the car he was in became stuck behind the cyclist.<\/p>\n

“I just thought, ‘This is golden’ and got out my phone to film him.”<\/p>\n

In the clip, which has been posted on on social media, the 42-year-old dad-of-two can be heard wondering how the man is going to make it over the roundabout in one piece.<\/p>\n

“He was lucky the roads were fairly quiet – usually it’s pretty full-on down there,” he said, before adding that the man appeared to “bottle it” at the last minute.<\/p>\n

“He ended up mounting the kerb instead and everything in the trolley spilled out over the floor. I think it included a couple of crates of lager – which would explain a lot.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
