The accused killed Noor Mukadam and beheaded her and sent shockwaves across the country.<\/p>\n<p>In his plea, Advocate Shah Khawar, the counsel of Zahir Jaffer, pleaded with the court that a medical board be formed to conduct a medical check-up of his client.<\/p>\n<p>The counsel said, \u201cZahir Jaffer shouted various times in the courtroom due to which he was kicked out,\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Advocate Shah Khawar, the lawyer representing Noor&#8217;s father Shaukat, confirmed that Jaffer\u2019s lawyer had filed an insanity plea for his client.<\/p>\n<p>He argued that Zahir Jaffer shouted various times in the courtroom due to which he was kicked out, confirming that the lawyer demanded a medical board be formed to conduct Jaffer\u2019s medical check-up.<\/p>\n<p>The counsel said, \u201cMaybe Zahir Jaffer has been instructed to act like a mental patient, because when a court declares a suspect insane, their trial is suspended,\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The lawyer suspected that the request to form a medical board for Zahir Jaffer was a planned act.<\/p>\n<p>Noor Mukadam, was the daughter of Shaukat Mukadam who was Pakistan\u2019s former ambassador to South Korea and Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n<p>On July 20, Islamabad police arrested Zahir Jaffer from the house where, the parents of Noor said, he had killed her with a sharp instrument and beheaded her.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The counsel of Zahir Jaffer has moved an application before the court, stating his<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":12414,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"spay_email":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[19],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-12410","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pakistan"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v18.4.1 -
