Tom Parker aided a family dealing with their daughter’s severe brain tumour in the months leading up to his death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 33-year-old musician, who died on March 30, became friends with Amani Liaquat, 23, while they were both battling cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Their journeys, stories of seizures, and so on were practically comparable, so they linked right away,” Amani’s father, Khuram Liaquat, said. The fact that he kept in touch with her, that she had nearly a lifeline from Tom, gave Amani hope and enthusiasm.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
