LAHORE: More than 2,500 Sikh yatrees are expected to come in Pakistan next week to celebrate the Vaisakhi holiday through the Wahga border crossing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shrines Rana Shahid, Deputy Secretary Imran Gondal, Pardhan Sardar Ameer Singh, and other Sikh leaders and board officials will receive the yatrees, according to information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All arrangements, including security, will be made under the guidance of Evacuee Trust Property Board Chairman Dr Amir Ahmad, according to Rana Shahid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The major ceremony will take place in Hassan Abdal’s Gurdwara Punja Sahib, with the Sikh yatrees returning to India on the 21st of this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, also known as Baisakhi, is held every year on April 13 or 14 to commemorate the Sikh solar new year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
