ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari called the Supreme Court’s decision on the National Assembly deputy speaker’s ruling and the assembly’s dissolution a judicial coup on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Last night, a judicial coup took place, mandating how and even when the NA session must be held, thereby eliminating legislative supremacy!” Regrettably, the topic of the United States’ attempt at regime change – the elephant in the room \u2013 was completely disregarded, leading to the Deputy Speaker’s decision. But this isn’t the end of the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The dark shadows that linger over this judicial ruling believe the game is done, but it has just just begun.” Despite the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECPunexplained )’s hesitation, the people will find out who sold their souls to the US and for the sake of money!,” Shireen Mazari tweeted.
On April 7, the Supreme Court declared the deputy speaker’s decree unconstitutional and reinstated the dissolved National Assembly in a momentous decision.
The court overturned all of Imran Khan’s and President Arif Alvi’s actions, ruling that the speaker could not adjourn the National Assembly session without a vote on a no-confidence resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The court ordered that the legislature meet on Saturday (April 9) to vote on a resolution of no confidence. It also mandated that the voting process be free of obstructions.
Senator Faisal Javed Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) stated on Friday that the opposition appeared to believe it had triumphed after the Supreme Court’s ruling on the dissolution of the National Assembly and rejection of the opposition’s no-confidence resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“They’ve been defeated. Sweets are thrown away once more. Take note of what I’m saying. Insha Allah, only time shall tell. “The people have spoken,” tweeted Faisal Javed.
