ISLAMABAD<\/strong>: The National Assembly’s session opened on Saturday with voting on a no-confidence resolution against Prime Minister Imran Khan, which was one of six items on the agenda.
The session began with an address by Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif, who praised the Supreme Court’s decision against the dissolution of the legislature and Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri’s ruling.
Shehbaz Sharif took the floor and urged the speaker to hold the vote in compliance with the Supreme Court’s order. “You are not allowed to discuss any other agenda,” he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The administration backed the notion of necessity, he claimed, but the court buried it and overturned Imran Khan and Qasim Suri’s actions.
The President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stated that the parliament will lawfully defeat “the chosen.” “Today, the parliament will write a new chapter in history,” he remarked.
In response, the NA speaker stated that worldwide conspiracy concerns could not be ignored.
The opposition leader claimed that the postponement of the election might lead to a worsening of the political situation. He insisted that it was the speaker’s responsibility to call the meeting and handle the House’s business right away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asad Qaiser stated that the House will abide by the Supreme Court’s decision in its entirety.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi stated at the time that the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) administration wished to deal with the no-confidence vote in a democratic and constitutional manner. “It is the opposition’s right to bring the no-trust motion,” he said, adding that they had never broken the law before and had no plans to do so in the future.
“I’d want to remind the country that it is our job to uphold the constitution. “October 12, 1999 is one of many examples of constitutional transgressions in Pakistan’s history,” he remarked, alluding to the coup led by former Chief of Army Staff General (retd) Pervez Musharraf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prime minister had stated that while he was upset with the Supreme Court’s decision to dissolve the legislature, he accepted it.
He chastised Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Pakistan Democratic Movement Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman for their prejudiced statements that they would not accept the Supreme Court ruling if it was based on need.
“It is vital to dig into the worldwide conspiracy against the country, and the National Security Council (NSC) is also aware of the threat letter,” Qureshi stated, alluding to the subject of international conspiracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Imran Khan was not in attendance for the NA session, roughly 50 members of the Treasury Bench were. The meeting has been postponed till 12:30 p.m.
Rangers and FC officials have been dispatched as Islamabad’s security has been heightened. The NA authorities stated that voting will go place in accordance with the Supreme Court’s decision.
