They went on to say that even after the shutdown, some power facilities were still getting capacity payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The issue\u2019s breakdown was also revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to an official document, the 525MW Nandi Power Plant has been closed since December 13, 2021, while the 840MW Muzzafargarh Power Plant has been closed since April 8, 2022, the 621MW Port Qasim Power Plant has been closed since March 31, 2022, the 447MW Guddu Power Plant has been closed since February 12, 2021, the 245MW Muzzafargarh Power Plant has been closed since July 1, 2021, the 620MW Thar Coal Power Plant<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of these power plants were forced to close due to a scarcity of fuel, while others were forced to close due to technical difficulties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore,
