Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur, says Twitter Inc TWTR.N will always be free for casual users, but may charge a small price for commercial and government users, as he strives to expand the social media platform’s<\/a> reach from “niche” to the majority of Americans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Twitter will always be free for casual users,” Musk wrote in a tweet, “but there may be a slight penalty for commercial\/government users.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When approached by Reuters, Twitter declined to comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since last month, Tesla CEO Elon Mus<\/a>k TSLA.O has proposed a slew of modifications to Twitter.
