“We must also remember that every pound of taxpayer money we spend today on lowering bills is a pound we are not spending in lowering bills and prices in the long run,” he added. And so, if anything, this moment underscores the need of completing our mission to jumpstart the economy, create jobs, and expand opportunities across the country.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Instead, he claimed that the greatest approach to lower sky-high bills was to unleash the economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Prime Minister argued that Brexit will revitalize the economy and pledged a \u00a31 billion burning of EU red tape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also announced ambitions to codify trade agreements with allies like Australia, and indicated he was close to doing so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To win power back from EU judges, long-awaited proposals for a British Bill of Rights will be pushed through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the first time in six decades, the queen, who is 95 years old, did not attend the State Opening of Parliament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Due to her difficulty walking, Her Majesty, 96, made the painful decision not to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following a chat between the Queen and her advisors, Prince Charles, 72, stepped in for his mother at Parliament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
