Shehroze Kashif, a young Pakistani climber, arrived at Mount Everest base camp on Wednesday with his sights set on another 8-thousander, Mount Lhotse, at 8516 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, the 20-year-old mountaineer completed the world’s third-highest peak, Kangchenjunga, at 8,586 meters, and is now back on pace to complete the world’s fourth-highest peak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shehroze verified in a contact on Wednesday afternoon that he arrived at Everest base camp earlier in the morning and will attempt the Lhotse summit from there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This is my favorite base camp because you have all the amenities, and I am looking forward to beginning my summit push shortly,” he said in a statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before climbing Mount Everest, K2, and Manaslu in 2021, the young mountaineer had already submitted Broad Peak in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has also indicated that he will re-summit Manaslu, after Mingma G’s queries about the uniformity of numerous summits, including Sheroze’s, at Manaslu last year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
