A BRIT has claimed a staggering \u00a3184 million EuroMillions prize, making them wealthier than Adele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After winning last night, a single ticket holder has received the country’s largest-ever National Lottery payout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An anonymous ticket holder previously held the record, winning \u00a3170 million in October 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the jackpot this week is considerably greater. It dwarfs the \u00a3130 million fortune of the vocalist of Someone Like You.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surprisingly, a British worker earning an average wage of \u00a331,258 would need 5,781 years to earn the same amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This is simply great news,” Camelot’s senior winners’ advisor Andy Carter stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last night, history was made when a single UK ticket purchaser won the largest ever National Lottery reward, and we’re overjoyed that we’ve now received a claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Right now, our focus is on guiding ticket holders through the process and assisting them in beginning to enjoy their genuinely life-changing and record-breaking victory.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2011, Colin and Chris Weir of Largs, Scotland, won \u00a3161,653,000, while Adrian and Gillian Bayford of Haverhill, Suffolk, won \u00a3148,656,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last night’s jackpot winner is the 14th to win more than \u00a3100 million on Euro Millions since its inception in 2004, and the sixth in the United Kingdom this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
