The event happened this morning about 8 a.m. at the hotel on Notari Alemany in Calvi\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to initial accounts from local media, the man may have slipped while attempting to balance on the hotel’s railings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the early morning tragedy, he fell more than 50 feet to his death from the seventh level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The unidentified British man is thought to have died instantly, with “nothing that could be done” to save him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before he was pronounced dead, emergency services including an ambulance, police, and the Civil Guard raced to the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident was also visited by doctors from a neighboring medical centre, but they were unable to revive the man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the next hours, an autopsy will be performed to officially determine the 34-year-cause old’s of death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
