Reuters)-Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was averted from leaving Ukraine to take part in a meeting of a NATO body in Lithuania, his party’s administrative body said on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Poroshenko was stopped doubly at a border crossing with Poland while he was on his way to the meeting of NATO’s Parliamentary Assembly, a exemplary interparliamentary organisation, the statement said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ukrainian media reported Poroshenko couldn’t cross the border due to” specialized problems” with a permit allowing him to leave the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
