Francisco Mariano Javier Ibanez was told he resembled the ‘She Bangs’ singer and later decided to have plastic surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Tuesday, the lookalike from Buenos Aires, Argentina, spoke about the arduous procedures he underwent to look like the celebrity on the TV show Mananisima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I worked on my nose, chin, and lips… I desired to resemble Ricky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite undergoing the dramatic transformation to look like a pop star, Francisco recently discovered that it is best to “just be yourself,” a realization that took him a long time to come to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When asked why he wanted to look like the pop star, he said, “Because we all have a sense of belonging.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And I didn’t have the distinction of saying, “I have to be the best version of myself” at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I considered who everyone likes, and yes, people did tell me that I resembled him. So I trusted them.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
