Prince Harry and Meghan Markle <\/a>skipped a Jubilee event to avoid “hobnobbing with the family.”<\/p>\n\n\n\nThe Sussexes arrived in the UK together for the first time in more than two years to attend the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, and they are keeping a low profile to avoid drawing attention away from the monarch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But they had a lot of people watching them because of their attendance at Trooping the Colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a royal aide, while they were delighted to see Prince Charles, they had no desire to meet the Cambridges at a subsequent Jubilee reception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“On their way to St Paul’s, Harry and Meghan stopped by Clarence House to see Charles.” “However, they were less eager to spend time with the family at the reception, where they would rub shoulders with William and Kate,” they told.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Sussexes had been relegated seats in the church to reflect their new status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
