According to family sources, Musharraf was admitted to the hospital last week after his health deteriorated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), the political party founded by former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, has denied reports of his death on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The APML said in a statement today, “General (R) Pervez Musharraf is at home and doing well.” He has been receiving treatment for his condition (Amyloidosis).”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The circulating news about his death is false, it said, urging the public to pray for his quick recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former president’s family said in a separate statement on his Twitter account that he is not on the ventilator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Has been in the hospital for the last three weeks due to a complication of his illness.” Going through a difficult stage in which recovery is impossible and organs are failing. “Pray for him to be at ease in his daily life.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
