On Thursday, the Gulf station on Sloane Avenue in affluent Chelsea was seen charging drivers \u00a32.38 for unleaded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At that rate, the average tank of slightly more than 33 litres would have cost nearly \u00a380.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The South Kensington Gulf is thought to be the most expensive petrol station in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LondonWorld investigated the skyrocketing fuel prices and discovered eye-watering costs that Brits are forced to incur in order to use their cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Claudia Marquis was at the Shell on Queenstown Road in Nine Elms, Battersea, when she noticed the price had risen by more than 3p.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Only moments ago, the price per litre was \u00a31.82,” she said. However, the price of petrol has risen by 3p in the last three minutes, to \u00a31.85.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It comes at a time when a remote petrol station in the Scottish Highlands is selling diesel for \u00a32.13p per litre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shocking cost is \u00a39.67p per gallon, but motorists were seen queuing up for their share on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to report, the AA’s head of roads policy, rural areas are slightly more expensive – but you can never predict which areas will have the best deals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
