Authorities attempting to reduce the number of people eaten by crocodiles near a busy river have installed unusual warning signs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So far in 2022, the hungry reptiles have killed three people in the Kali River in Dandeli, India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an effort to put an end to the horror, the local government decided against removing the beasts and instead installed new warning signs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Visitors will be warned not to feed the crocs, not to take their children near the water’s edge, and not to swim at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a Haliyal Forest Division official, “aside from tourists, several devotees come to Haliyal.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The signs will warn people about the potential presence of crocodiles in the area.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to experts, the recent croc attacks are the result of recent river work that has partially destroyed their natural habitat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On June 9, Ilham, 49, was dropping off local tourists when he suffered a flat tyre and got his hands dirty changing the wheel at the Sinka Zoo in West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ilham reached into a nearby pool, oil on his palms, to wash away the dirt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When a crocodile leapt from the water and sank its teeth into his elbow, he screamed in agony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
