We consulted experts to find out the truth, and the RSPCA says that giving ice to dogs is fine, and even suggests giving pups frozen treats to keep their temperatures down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The RSPCA recommends freezing a dog’s water bowl or kong before filling it with water or fresh treats (to help keep them cool for longer).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We also recommend putting ice cubes in your pet’s water or making frozen treats to help cool them down,” an animal rescue charity spokesperson told.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
