A woman issued a warning after claiming to have discovered ten spy cameras hidden throughout the Airbnb home she was staying in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a video, the woman, who was staying at an Airbnb in Philadelphia, USA, described her “scary ordeal.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The traveller known on Twitter as @foxytaughtyou described how cameras were “hidden all over the house,” adding that guests “should be cautious” and that “some were disguised as sprinkler systems.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was severely “creeped out” when her friend allegedly discovered more “in the showers and bedrooms,” according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On June 13, the woman tweeted, “We reported this to [AirbnB] and to the police station Friday noon and still have not received an update on this case.” We have no idea what footage this owner has or what he intends to do with it! \u201cWe discovered that the sprinklers were equipped with a camera lens. We sat in the chair and performed a flash test on these sprinklers, which are cameras.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Our policies strictly prohibit hidden cameras,” an Airbnb spokesperson told. “We take forceful action in the exceptionally rare circumstances where this has been reported, including assisting law enforcement to help them hold criminals accountable.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
