You have a number of rights under UK law if you fly from a UK airport on any airline, arrive at a UK airport on an EU or UK airline, or arrive at an airport in the EU on a UK airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What you are entitled to depends on the circumstances surrounding the cancellation and how much notice you were given.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You will not be eligible for compensation if the disruption was not the airline’s fault and was caused by “extraordinary circumstances” that could not have been avoided even if all reasonable precautions had been taken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
