Lara Lewington, MARTIN Lewis’ wife, has revealed that she conceals her facial scars with heavy make-up following a horrific accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After falling off an electric scooter, the TV host suffered gashes across her forehead and upper lip that required stitches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On June 4, Lara posted photos of her bloodied face, writing, “As an extremely clumsy person, always wobbly on two wheels, the electric scooter ride was never going to be a good idea.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The TV journalist has since updated fans on her injuries, stating that while her stitches have healed, she still requires layers of foundation to conceal the scars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She captioned a photo of herself presenting in front of a camera at work, “Was pretty pleased with lighting, sound, shot, makeup (as scars were hidden).”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“What a ‘pro,’ and pleased that you’re able to disguise the scars, which are certainly not visible at all,” one follower reassured her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lara said she was “cleaned up and stitched up” after the accident and was “glad it wasn’t worse,” but she would never ride an e-scooter again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
