Among the major names reportedly affected were VPN provider NordVPN and takeaway delivery service Just Eat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fitbit, Peleton, and Bet365 were also reportedly targeted, leaving many users with a mysterious “500 Internal Server error.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cloudflare, the backbone of many websites, admitted it was the source of the problem after experiencing a “critical” incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the alarm was raised at around 8 a.m. UK time, it took about an hour for techies to implement a fix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cloudflare announced that the incident had been resolved shortly after 9 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Users flocked to Twitter to find out what’s happening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Seems that there are issues with Cloudflare services that affect a wide range of services, including ours,” NordVPN, which has millions of customers, responded. The team, on the other hand, is already investigating and working to resolve the issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, NordVPN was not alone; Cloudflare is used by many websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discord, Omegle, DoorDash, Crunchyroll, Feedly, Zerodha, Medium.com, news outlet Register, Groww, Buffer, iSpirt, Upstox, and Social Blade were also affected, according to TechCrunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to The Verge, Shopify, Grindr, Fitbit, Peleton, Just Eat, and Bet365 all had issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What caused the outage at Cloudflare?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Cloudfare’s status page, the problem was classified as a “critical P0 incident.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
