The protests, organized under the pretext of security concerns, led to major expenditures by the Islamabad Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 800 containers were deployed to block key areas, costing Rs72.8 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police procured 35,000 tear gas shells, utilizing many during the protests amounted to an expense of Rs150 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
