It’s no secret that children often make a lot of mess and\u00a0cleaning\u00a0up after them can be exhausting.<\/p>\n

But if you thought your child was a menace for getting pen on the sofa or covering themselves in their dinner, then it seems you probably haven’t seen anything yet.<\/p>\n

One mum from Northampton has revealed that she hasn’t been able to take her eyes off of her young son Jaxon-Carter, since he began walking at 10-months.<\/p>\n

The tot is now three and Shyama Underwood, 35, claims he has broken 12 televisions, covered the newly decorated living room in soil and flooded the bathroom – twice!<\/p>\n

Shyama, who has three other children, says his destructive tendencies have cost her nearly \u00a36,000 and he’s been dubbed ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ by family members as a result.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0mum\u00a0admits she’s tried all she can think of to discipline her son, but telling him ‘no’ only makes him want to act out more.<\/p>\n

She said: “Everyone in the family calls him Wreck-It Ralph because nothing is safe in his path.<\/p>\n

“From the moment he started walking I\u2019ve not been able to turn my back on him, even for a second without him getting up to mischief.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve been through 12 TVs in the last 18 months where he\u2019s destroyed them by pulling them off the unit or thrown something at them.<\/p>\n

“Just last week he nearly set the house on fire by putting his toy in the oven while I was cooking dinner – I came back and the oven was in flames.”<\/p>\n

She continued: “He redecorated my entire bathroom with grey paint and another time he redecorated himself and the walls with white emulsion which I had purposely hidden from him.<\/p>\n

“One night I woke up in the middle of the night and heard him moving around. I went to check on him and he had covered his entire bedroom and himself in blue sharpie.”<\/p>\n

But one of the most frustrating incidents occurred right after Shyama had bought a new sofa and replaced the carpet in the lounge.<\/p>\n

“He pulled a plant out of its pot and poured the soil all over the living room,” recalls the mum.<\/p>\n

“He was just staring at me with these white little eyes behind his black filthy face. I have to laugh otherwise I\u2019d just cry.”<\/p>\n

As well as destroying things, Jaxon also enjoys clambering into places he shouldn’t be – such as the washing machine and even the toilet.<\/p>\n

Shyama, who is also mum to Keaton, 16, Regan, 14, and Oakley, seven, says she thought her other children had prepared her for anything, but “Jaxon gives them all a run for their money”.<\/p>\n

She added: “My two eldest boys were only two years apart so I thought I was well trained after dealing with their antics but Jaxon gives them all a run for their money.<\/p>\n

“He had a tough start when he was born, he had\u00a0sepsis\u00a0and we didn\u2019t know if he would pull through but since then he\u2019s been quick to learn everything from crawling at five months and walking around at 10.<\/p>\n

“He looks like butter wouldn\u2019t melt but it definitely would – I know because he\u2019s pulled it out of the fridge and covered himself in it!”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
