On the event of Earth Day, TV show host Ellen DeGeneres has decided to set up a fundraiser to aid endangered species across the world.<\/p>\n

\"Ellen-DeGeneres-sets-up-a-fundraiser-for-endangered-species-rapidnews-dailyrapid\"<\/p>\n

The fundraiser will be hosted via the star\u2019s own organization, The Ellen Fund. This non-profit will have a singular focus, i.e the support of endangered species.<\/p>\n

As of now, nearly $250,000 has been donated for the cause by The Elephant Cooperation, a corporation working towards the protection of elephants as well as their natural habitats.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
