Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the MQM-P headquarters in Bahadarabad on Wednesday to meet with its leadership and emphasised the timely completion of important development projects in Karachi, including the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) and K-4. He also announced the establishment of a new university.
The MQM leadership congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his election.
They pledged to work closely with the federal government to ensure the welfare of citizens as well as the province’s development and progress, particularly in Karachi.
MQM-P Convenor Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Senior Deputy Convenor Aamir Khan, Syed Aminul Haq, Dr Faroogh Naseem, and Kanwar Jameel were present at the meeting.
The prime minister praised the coalition parties’ commitment to the common good.
