Khalid Maqbool will determine whether or not to join the federal cabinet.
In the late hours of Friday, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) conducted a meeting under the chairmanship of Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
The conference was held concurrently via video link in Islamabad and Karachi to address the country’s current political situation.
Discussions on the agreements with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz were held during the meeting (PML-N).
According to a MQM-P spokeswoman, Dr. Khalid Maqbool has been granted the ability to decide on whether or not to join Pakistan’s federal cabinet.
Convener Khalid Maqbool clarifies that the agreements with PPP and the PML-N were in the public interest, and that their implementation would benefit the people.
