As a top priority, the government will address the nation’s problems: Rana Sanaullah
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said the current administration is fully aware of the people’s grievances and will make every attempt to solve them as a priority.
In an interview with a private news station, he said that the previous administration had damaged all national institutions by implementing bad policies, and that its leadership had been lying for more than three years.
He expressed his optimism that the administration led by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would meet all of its obligations and manage its operations smoothly, adding that the government will operate in accordance with the Constitution.
He stated that no wrongdoing or unfounded case will be filed against anyone during the current government’s mandate.
The pastor stated that the time had changed, and those who were innocent would be released from prison, while those who committed crimes would be imprisoned.
In response to a query, he stated that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had informed Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will take the oath of office as foreign minister upon his return from London, and that he would meet with Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
According to Rana Sanaullah, the administration would not allow anybody to have disparaging discussions or use negative words toward others.
In response to another question, he stated that the PTI foreign financing issue was nearing its conclusion since the High Court had given unambiguous guidance to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to complete the matter within 30 days.
