In an exciting leap towards modernizing the legal sector, the Rawalpindi High Court Bar Association has proudly signed a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Wooqlaw.com, Pakistan’s foremost IT firm specializing in legal technology. This landmark agreement, signed by the Bar’s dynamic President Malik Jawad Khalid alongside Wooqlaw.com’s Abrar Ahmad, marks a thrilling milestone in Pakistan’s legal landscape!

Malik Jawad Khalid celebrated this historic moment, declaring that the Rawalpindi High Court Bar is now blazing a trail as the first bar association in Pakistan to embrace complete digital transformation. This revolutionary platform will empower lawyers to connect seamlessly with clients worldwide, transforming every aspect of legal practice from petition preparation and filing to case hearings and decisions. This initiative not only aligns with Chief Justice Aliya Neelum’s visionary goal of an online judicial system but also represents a bold step towards its realization.

The digital leap is set to open exhilarating new professional avenues for lawyers, both locally and internationally, while boosting foreign remittances and making a substantial contribution to the country’s economy. Asad Mahmood, Wooqlaw.com’s Chief Technical Officer, addressed a female lawyer’s question with enthusiasm, highlighting that the platform will be a game-changer for young and female lawyers. With flexible, home-based opportunities, they can now thrive professionally and economically, tapping into global demand for legal expertise.

The platform will ensure rigorous professional standards, accrediting only qualified lawyers while disqualifying the unaccredited automatically. In addition, prominent educational institutions like Kahuta Law College and Lords College International have enthusiastically requested features like case management and a case law library for their students. Mahmood assured that the platform includes a cutting-edge module specifically designed to enhance students’ legal research, making their career journey smarter and more efficient.

As part of this landmark agreement, over 8,000 lawyers affiliated with the Rawalpindi High Court Bar Association will enjoy complimentary access to world-class facilities valued at an impressive 42 million rupees for an entire year. The ceremony was a vibrant celebration of this new era, attended by key figures such as Secretary General Shabbir Ahmed Mirza, Vice President Arshad Mahmood Janjua, Additional Secretary Sameera Yousuf, and Joint Secretary Asma Abbasi. Senior lawyers and bar association leaders from across the region—including Rawalpindi, Mianwali, Taxila, Kahuta, Sohawa, Gujar Khan, and Kotli Satian—came together in large numbers to witness this momentous event
