The 34-member federal government of PM Shehbaz Sharif is sworn in.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s 34-member cabinet, which comprises 31 federal ministers, four state ministers, and three advisers to the Prime Minister, took the oath on Tuesday.

In place of President Dr Arif Alvi, who rejected to administer the oath, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani accepted the oath from the news cabinet.

The PML-N has 14 federal ministers, two state ministers, and two prime ministerial advisors. The PPP has nine federal ministers, two state ministers, and one PM adviser. The JUIF has four ministers, the MQM-Pakistan has two, and the JWP, BAP, and PML-Q each have one.

The people who are part of the cabinet are: Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah Khanm, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Khurram Dastgir, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Javed Latif, Riaz Hussain Peerzada, Murtaza Javed Abbassi, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Senator Sherry

Four Ministers of State are: Dr Aisha Ghaus Pasha, Hina Rabbani Khar, Abdul Rehman Kanju and Senator Mustafa Nawaz Kokhar. Prime Minister’s advisers are: Miftah Ismael, Amir Muqam and Qamar Zaman Kaira.
