The Prime Minister pays a condolence visit to the Chinese embassy and promises stern punishment to the culprits.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid a visit to the Chinese embassy in Islamabad on Tuesday and expressed his condolences for the deaths of Chinese nationals in an explosion in Karachi earlier in the day.

The prime minister met with Chinese Charge’d Affaires Pang Chunxue and expressed his condolences to the Chinese government, people, and bereaved families.

The prime minister promised a prompt investigation into the incident to bring the perpetrators to justice.

“I want to guarantee you on my behalf, on behalf of the Government of Pakistan, and on behalf of the Pakistani people that we will track down the criminals, culprits, and murders.” “We will not rest until they are apprehended and punished severely,” the prime minister said in an interview with Chinese journalists at the embassy.

He directed the relevant authorities to ensure perfect protection to both Chinese nationals and organisations.

The prime minister described it as an attack on the friendly relations between China and Pakistan, and said that the government would not allow such activities to damage bilateral ties.

He stated that Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah will visit Karachi on Wednesday to help the Sindh government in the inquiry and to give all necessary federal government support in apprehending the perpetrators.

Furthermore, he stated that the government will assess all security concerns to the Chinese people and take all feasible measures to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals in Pakistan.

“We will not tolerate any disruption in this friendship, no matter what.” “We’ll chop their hands and stop them from causing any problems,” he said.

In his condolence speech at the embassy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “We are terribly horrified and disturbed by this wicked act.” “All Pakistanis grieve their death and express condolences to the bereaved families.”

He also reaffirmed the government’s determination to eradicating all militants and terrorists from Pakistani territory. “We will not rest until the perpetrators are apprehended and handed severe justice,” he added.
