Maryam urges youth to become country’s voice abroad

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said Pakistan played a positive and effective role in stopping war in the region, praising the country’s diplomacy during Iran, America and Israel tensions.

Addressing youth who completed their training under the Parwaz Card in Lahore, she urged them to become responsible representatives of Pakistan abroad and make the country’s name shine through their skills and conduct.

Maryam said she was pleased to see students who had successfully completed their training under the Parwaz Card programme. She congratulated the youth and said their training would help them become skilled, responsible and capable of fulfilling the needs of their homes and parents.

Youth to get jobs abroad

Maryam said young people trained under the Parwaz Card would get employment opportunities abroad. She added that youth who travel overseas not only earn livelihood but also get valuable opportunities to learn, observe and grow professionally.

The chief minister said unskilled workers abroad do not receive the same status and opportunities as skilled professionals, which is why the government is focusing on modern training.
