Security forces kill 11 terrorists in KP, Balochistan operations
Security forces have killed 11 terrorists in separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, according to security sources.
The operations were conducted in South Waziristan, Bannu and Khuzdar as security forces continued efforts to counter militant activity in the two provinces.
Operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against Fitna-ul-Khawarij in Bannu, where two terrorists were killed and arms and ammunition were recovered, according to security sources.
In another operation in the Ladha area of South Waziristan, security forces killed five terrorists.
The forces successfully traced the movement of the militants and took timely action, while a terrorist hideout was also destroyed during the operation, the sources said.
Four terrorists killed in Khuzdar
In Balochistan’s Khuzdar district, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against Fitna-ul-Hindustan, killing four terrorists in the Sasol area, according to security sources.
Security forces used quadcopters to effectively target the militants during the operation.
The sources said that care was taken during all the operations to ensure that no harm was caused to the local population.
