Prince Harry and Google have teamed up.

Travalyst, a non-profit founded by Prince Harry, has teamed up with Google to promote sustainable travel.

The firm was founded by the Duke of Sussex, who brought on board TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Ctrip, Skyscanner, and Visa. Google became a member of the alliance in 2021.

After joining Prince Harry’s team, Google began presenting carbon emissions figures for Google Flights queries. Following that, the organization disclosed that it was collaborating with the Duke of Sussex on the development of an open model for measuring carbon emissions from aviation travel.

Google has now released a free “Travel Impact Model” for emissions estimations, which expands on the Travalyst framework.

Sally Davey, CEO of Travalyst, claims that the programme will help consumers “make smarter decisions.”
