In Jamshoro a truck and van collide.
A truck and van crashed on the Indus Highway in Sindh’s Jamshoro area on Wednesday, killing fifteen people and injuring ten more, according to the senior superintendent of police.
The initial death toll was 13, but two injured persons succumbed to their wounds after being moved to a neighboring hospital with other patients, adding that the victims were Kandiaro residents.
According to the source, the incident occurred when a speeding truck collided with a van in Jamshoro’s Manjhand region.
Murad Ali Shah, the Chief Minister of Sindh, expressed his sorrow and asked the commissioner, deputy commissioner, and SSP Hyderabad to work with the affected people.
The chief minister stated that plans should be made to transport the deceased’s bodies to their respective districts. He instructed the officers, “I should be kept informed about the assistance efforts in this regard.”
