Trump vows immigration crackdown, promises era of prosperity in victory speech
United States President-elect Donald Trump addressed a jubilant crowd tonight, celebrating a momentous electoral victory that marked his unprecedented return as the 47th President of the United States.
With chants of “U.S.A.” filling the air, Trump shared his vision for a “strong and prosperous America” and pledged to work tirelessly for the American people.
“Tonight, we made history for a reason. We overcame obstacles that seemed insurmountable, and it’s now clear that we’ve achieved an incredible political journey,” Trump told supporters. “This is a political victory the likes of which our country has never seen before. Every single day, I will be fighting for you. I will not rest until we make America strong, prosperous, and truly great again.”
Trump’s campaign secured pivotal wins in key swing states, including Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Nevada, bringing his electoral count to an impressive 315 votes. Along with winning the popular vote, his resounding victory signals a significant mandate from the American people.
Trump has promised to give RFK Jr a prominent role overseeing health policy in his administration. That has raised concerns over the political scion’s endorsement of fringe theories.
Trump has again said he will give RFK Jr wide ranging influence.
“He’s a great guy, and he really he wants to do some things, and we’re going to let him go to it,” he said. “I just said, but Bobby, leave the oil to me…Bobby, stay away from the liquid gold. Other than that, go have a good time.”
As he concluded his speech, Trump vowed to prioritize healing divisions, fixing the nation’s borders, and addressing critical issues for the country’s future. “With every breath in my body, I am committed to seeing America flourish. This victory belongs to all of you, the American people, as we take this new chapter forward together.”
