Gold sold at Rs113,000 per tola in Pakistan on January 21

A single tola of 24-karat gold in Pakistan was sold for Rs113,000 on Thursday, January 21, at the opening of the bullion market.

Likewise, 10 grams of 24k gold was sold for Rs96,880 at the opening of trading.

Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22k gold was traded for Rs88,806, while one tola of 22k gold was traded for Rs103,582.

Earlier on Wednesday, gold prices in the local market increased from Rs150/tola, according to the data released by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association.

In the international market too, bullion rates increased from $9 to $1,853/ounce.

Jewellers claimed prices in the local market remained Rs1,000/tola lower, compared with the rates in Dubai gold market.

However, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs1,300/tola. The price of 10 grams silver also stood the same at Rs1,114.54.
