Final five seconds of Princess Diana’s interview remain worrying

Charles and Diana came across as a couple very much in love and looking forward to their wedding – which was set to be the event of the decade.

But looking back with hindsight, there was one moment of the interview which revealed the heartbreaking reality.

Speaking in Channel 5 documentary Charles and Di: The Truth Behind their Wedding, Angela discussed the interview in depth for the first time.

She said: “When we first arrived at the Palace and met Prince Charles and Diana in a corridor, Prince Charles as always was very relaxed. Lady Diana less so, it was a whole new experience for her.”

Before they went in they were given a briefing by the Queen’s press secretary Michael Shea.

He told them very firmly that the interview would be ended if they asked any questions that had not been agreed.

During the interview Michael stood directly behind Angela out of camera shot, but in Diana’s eyeline.

“I’m not quite sure how comfortable it made her feel.

“I got the impression that Princes Charles was very protective towards her.

Prince William and Prince Harry’s mom Princess Diana, who left the world in shock with her tragic death in 1997,   still remains alive in the hearts of their sons.

The two princes also gifted their mom’s precious jewelry to their wives with an aim to  share sweet memories of  the Princess of Wales with their  sweethearts.

After her demise, William and Harry were given an opportunity to keep an item that belonged to their late mother as a keepsake.

Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell shared the truth about her engagement ring, revealing that Prince Harry wanted to keep the ring of her late mother as it had sentimental value.

Paul, In Amazon Prime’s The Diana Story documentary, shared the memory as he recalled that Prince William said: “I’d like mummy’s Cartier watch, the one that Grandpa Spencer gave to the Princess of Wales’ for her 21st birthday.”

According to him, Prince Harry wanted to keep the engagement ring, but let William keep it instead. Later, the Duke of Cambridge gave it to Kate Middleton. It means, William also wanted to keep his late mom’s sweet memory with him at his big occasion.

Kate was first seen wearing the 18-carat sapphire ring on her left hand in 2010 when the couple announced their engagement after being in a relationship since their university days.

According to some royal experts, Meghan Markle could have been given the ring instead as it was Harry’s desire to keep that precious piece of his late mother’s jewelry.

The Duke of Sussex also remembered her mother on his big day when he proposed to her sweetheart Meghan Markle with a gold diamond engagement ring, using stones from his mother Princess Diana’s collection.

Diana was 19 when she married Charles, then 32, in an elaborate ceremony.

Prince Harry and William’s love for their mother  Diana will never die as they keep it evergreen with their deeds.
