30-year-old man found dead on roadside near Bhatti Gate
The body of a 30-year-old suspected drug addict was recovered from Bhatti Gate area on Friday. Police said a passerby spotted the victim lying unconscious on a roadside and informed them.
A police team reached the spot on information and took the victim to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him ‘brought dead’.
The youth’s corpse was sent to the morgue for an autopsy. Initial investigations suggest the victim may have died of narcotics overdose.
Police said that they were trying to locate the family of the deceased to hand over the body to the heirs.
